Policing in the heart of your neighbourhood

This is 39-year-old Nicky Holmes who’s been handed a criminal behaviour order (CBO) at court.

The order was sought by Guisborough’s neighbourhood officers with support from colleagues from Beyond Housing and Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council and it will run until 9th July 2028.

Under its conditions Holmes must not:

Redcar & East Cleveland neighbourhoods Inspector Neil Deluce said: “Holmes had been causing numerous issues across the town and quite understandably Guisborough’s retailers and residents had had enough.

“We acted on their concerns and gathered what we believed was strong evidence that he should receive a CBO.

“Happily the court agreed and Holmes is now subject to a number of conditions for a two-year period and he must keep to them – any breach could mean he is fined or even imprisoned. My officers will be keeping an eye and won’t hesitate to take immediate action if we do find he is committing any breaches.”
